Any player found conducting themselves in a manner that a reasonable person would deem unsafe will be subject to correction and sanction based on the severity of the incident. If you’re in doubt as to whether an action is unsafe, always ask any of the staff. Obey their decisions, and any further objections should be brought up to the staff.

OP VALOUR staff will inspect all items used on the field. Players caught with items taken on the field without inspection are in violation of safety. All airsoft guns SHALL be tested and tagged prior to gameplay and are subject to spot-checks at the staffs discretion.

—–WEAPONS—–

Chronograph checks (.30g) SHALL be performed on all weapons before field entry. Bring an empty magazine to the chronograph station for certification and tagging.

Semi/Full Auto Weapons – MAX 1.64J // MAX 25RPS

Bolt-Action Rifles – MAX 2.28J

There are no ammo limits.

With the exception of LMGs, no weapon may use full-auto fire with high-capacity magazines or drum magazines. If you are confused about what this means, contact OP VALOUR staff before attending the game.

—–FACE/EYE PROTECTION—–

ANSI Z87.1 (equivalent or better) EYE PROTECTION must be always worn in the field. Glasses must have a retention strap. Players under 18 must wear full face protection. Do not remove face/eye protection for any reason. Ask any staff member for assistance if required.
Wire, mesh, shop, and ski goggles are not permitted.

—–PLAYER CONDUCT—–

Players are expected to conduct themselves in a mature, responsible and respectful manner both on and off the field. Threatening language and verbal threats, slurs against race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Players will display respect for all others as well as the gear, equipment, props and property of other players and OP VALOUR staff with utmost care and regard. Any vandalism will be prosecuted.

—–PHYSICAL CONTACT—–

Physically abusive or threatening behavior of any nature is strictly prohibited. Violations will be addressed accordingly.

Players are not permitted to make physical contact with another player unless it is to detain them during play, contact limited to one hand on the shoulder only. No rough housing or horseplay will be tolerated.

—–CHEATING—–

Cheating and rule violations will result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the game and/or a ban from all future events.

To report someone for cheating or rule violations, report the individual immediately to any staff member. Do not confront the player directly during a game.

Ensure you can positively identify the individual. Give the staff member as much detail as possible, or don your kill rag and stay in visual contact with the individual.

Players observed cheating by staff will be ejected from the game on the spot.

—–MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT DISTANCES—–

Be courteous! Limit yourself to center mass, gear, or lower limbs when engaging at close range. The “MERCY RULE” is a courtesy.

Players will NOT use sniper / bolt action rifles at distances less than 50ft. If you do not have a sidearm, fall back or consider yourself DEAD.

No full-auto fire at distances less than 50ft.

—–BLIND FIRING—–

Blind firing is a severe safety violation. In order to maximize safety, you need to be aware of where your gun

Blind firing is defined as firing without identifying what you are shooting at first. Blind firing includes, but is not limited to, firing around corners without aiming, or ducking under a window while firing through it.

Shooting through a crack or hole (in a building or prop structure) smaller than a clenched fist is not allowed.

—–SPAWN CAMPING – MAIN BASE—–

Spawn camping is defined as a player or players who take up shooting positions outside respawn points for the sole purpose of shooting players as they return to the game. Obviously, don’t do this.

—–THE STORY—–

Among the forests and interspersed cities of Kanadistan, the Civil War runs rampant. With the electrical and communications grids being the first targets on both sides, the country falls into a shroud of disinformation and communication blackout. By the time the outside world recognized the conflict it had already ground down to a war of resources and attrition.

Communication satellites networks have been neutralized. Only shortrange networks can be patched together giving limited but necessary communication. Messages and information take days to reach the border and with Royal Guard and United Front pulling from the same caches and being supplied by similar factions the truth becomes ever more clouded in falsity and opinion. Both sides claim the other struck first and both look to make the final blow and bring peace back to the land.

There is no truth here, no evil to slay, only opinion.

The Royal Guard (BLUE TEAM) stands behind their traditions, they have upheld the virtues of law and order for generations. Although the region hasn’t been the most prosperous, the Kanadistan citizens believe that through the monarchy the country has seen peace, growth and unity while in their safe sanctuary. The outliers and United Front are upset about the choices the monarchy has made; they don’t understand that hard choices needed to be made for whole of the nation.

The United Front (YELLOW TEAM) stand against the oppressive regime. They come from all walks to stand against the monarchy. Police officers, ex military, farmers and baristas all coming together to do their part to fan the flames of revolution and bring democracy to their home. The King makes choices to line his pockets and hides behind his palace walls blind or arrogant to problems beyond them. The time is now to tear down the Elites, the people have waited too long to seize back their means of choice.

—–THE MISSION—–

The Area of Operations (AO) shall be divided into two parts with each faction controlling approximately 50% of the field. Across the entire AO, you will find five RESOURCE CACHES from which you will be able to draw “RESOURCES” from. Each RESOURCE must be brought to your SUPPLY DEPOT in order to ‘bank’ them. From that bank, the teams may spend these RESOURCES for in-game effects.

Two caches provide “FUEL” resources which allow you access to vehicles.

Two caches provide “LOGISTIC” resources which you can use to build structures and deploy via airdrops.

One cache, located centrally in the field, provides “WEAPON” resources which you can use to deploy advanced strikes, fire anti-vehicle munitions, and even obtain rare weapons of mass destruction.

Use of these resources can only be authorized by your Team Commander and/or their 2i/c.

In addition, throughout the day you will be challenged by hard fought side objectives, and true teamwork will be the only way you can ever hope for victory! These missions are only released when assigned and may be received at your HQ or in the field, depending on the source.

=====SCENARIO RULES=====

—–HITS, GUN HITS, DOWN AND DEAD RULES (“BUDDY HELP”)—–

Ricochets do not count from guns.

You begin as a LIVE player. Being struck by an airsoft BB anywhere on your person or gear is a HIT. You are DOWN; take a knee or lay prone, and you can only call “MEDIC.” You can be dragged/carried by another player as long as it does not interfere with your eye/face protection.

You may be revived by any player by having a “bandage” tied onto your left arm and you are now WOUNDED. Play as normal. The bandage must stay on until you return to spawn. If you are HIT while WOUNDED, you are DOWN AGAIN and must be revived by any player tying a bandage on your right arm. You are now considered CRITICAL and may play as normal. If you are HIT while CRITICAL, you are DEAD and and must return to spawn.

Simple Breakdown of Hit Rules

               1. LIVE – hasn’t been hit, everything is good!

               2. DOWN – you’ve been hit! Call for buddy help!

               3. WOUNDED – you are wearing a bandage and can play as normal!

               4. DOWN AGAIN – you’re hit! Call for buddy help again!

               5. CRITICAL – you are wearing two bandages and can play as normal!

               6. DEAD – you’re hit while wearing two bandages and are DEAD! Return to spawn.

DOWN or DEAD players may not speak regarding strategic or tactical details until they have respawned or have been revived.

DOWN or DEAD players cannot be used as cover.

Do not pretend to be a DEAD player when you are not dead.

If your weapon in your hand is struck, it is disabled for ONE minute. If your holstered or slung weapon is struck, that is a HIT and you are DOWN or DEAD.

You may consider yourself DEAD at any time.

If you are hit by a melee attack or explosive (including airstrikes) you are instantly DEAD, regardless if you are a LIVE player, DOWN player, or WOUNDED player. Go respawn

There is a minimum bleed-out time of ONE minute after being hit. Remain DOWN for one minute before becoming DEAD.

—–SMOKE—–

YELLOW – “Airstrike” only. (30ft kill radius, staff deployed yellow smoke, kills players only)

RED – “Precision Airstrike” only. (15ft kill radius, red smoke, kills or stops vehicles, destroys buildings, kills players)

GREEN – “Weapon of Mass Destruction” (50ft kill radius, lingering green smoke treated as ‘deadly nerve gas’ until no longer visible, green smoke, kills players only)

Yellow smoke grenades are only to be used by staff. All other colours permitted for player use.

—–DRONES, UAVs, UGVs—–

Each team will have a fortified Forward Observation Post (FOP) with a flagpole marked for their side in their territory. The flag must be raised by spending LOGISTIC points. If the flag is taken down or certain WEAPON resources are used on them by the enemy, the FOP is destroyed. Any drones in the air controlled from that FOP must be landed safely and immediately.

Drones may not have any offensive or defensive capabilities. They are only for surveillance use.

If you wish to bring your drone to use, contact OP VALOUR staff before the 31st of August 2025.

—–GAME ITEMS—–

No player can carry more than ONE scenario item at a time. If you are DOWN or DEAD, place the item visibly on the ground next to you. If you are leaving the play area, return the item to OP VALOUR staff.

=====SCENARIO GUIDE=====

Headquarters (HQ)

This is your spawn. While you are within your spawn or in physical contact with it, you are invincible. This is NOT a safe area. A staff member will be on site at all times.

Forward Operating Points (FOPs)

Your FOP is already located on the field. Find it! Use your LOGISTIC resources to build your tower. This is indicated by raising the flag on the pole at that point (at a cost of LOGISTIC resources.) While the FOP is active, a drone operator on your team may operate their drone from that position. If the FOP flag is brought down for any reason (e.g. you are overrun, a PRECISION AIRSTRIKE, etc) you are required to immediately and safely land your drone until the FOP flag is raised again (which costs more LOGISTIC points!)

Supply Depot

This location serves as your ‘bank’ and your ‘prison’. Any captured enemy players must be escorted here. RESOURCES you acquire must be brought here in order to be used. This is not a spawn, and it may be attacked and raided.

Resource Caches

Five unknown and subtly marked locations across the field are filled with resources of three different types: FUEL, LOGISTIC, WEAPON. Each cache may or may not have a lot of stock, depending on game flow. No player can carry more than one mission item at a time, including RESOURCES. Costs for items may scale up or down throughout the game.
